Managing events
The Events module is available in write mode to the president, the coach and the manager.
Event types
- match;
- training;
- meeting.
When creating an event, you should enter the key information: title, date, time when relevant, location, event type and any useful additional details.

Default participant targeting
- Match: players are the default target group.
- Training: players and coaches are the default target group.
- Meeting: all club roles are the default target group.
Category targeting
Each event can be configured to target participants according to member categories.
Target categories:
- When creating an event, you can select the categories required to participate.
- Example 1: create a match restricted to players in the "COMPETITION" category.
- Example 2: create a training open to all players in the "LEISURE" or "COMPETITION" categories.
- Leave the field empty to automatically include all members with at least one category.
"Include staff" option:
- Tick this option to automatically add the staff (President, Coach, Manager) to the list of eligible participants.
- Useful for team events where the staff must be present.
- Untick it to reserve the event for players only (according to the selected categories).
Configuration examples:
| Context | Targeted category | Include staff | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official match | COMPETITION | ✅ Yes | COMPETITION players + Staff |
| Open training | (none) | ❌ No | All categorized members |
| Team meeting | (none) | ✅ Yes | All members + Staff |
| Youth match | CADETS | ✅ Yes | CADETS players + Staff |
Impact on call-ups:
- When creating a call-up, only eligible participants (according to the category criteria and staff inclusion) are proposed.
- The system filters automatically based on the event's configuration.
Responding to an event
Targeted users can respond to an event to indicate whether they are present or absent. These responses are then used to prepare call-ups.
